One day, one place, five stories. A bug, a goose, a fox, a cat and a six year old girl all see the sun rise – by the time it has set they have all entered a much bigger world. Set inside a beautiful calico dome, using digital animations, puppetry, miniature landscapes and an evocative soundtrack Small Worlds is a non-verbal exploration of the events of a single day as seen through the eyes of five very different creatures. Doors are opened to reveal a fantastical world where a wooden set becomes a riverbank, a tiny fox plays in a pop up meadow and a cat and a girl dream their stories. Small Worlds is a theatre, puppetry and animation experience for children aged 5 up.
